Penquin Players Present: Jonah
Jonah is fleeing God’s command. He does not want to go to Ninevah. God sends a mighty storm.
Jonah is tossed into the sea.
A whale comes and swallows him!
Jonah reluctantly delivers God’s message.
God has a little talk with Jonah.
Penquin Players Present: Jesus Walking on Water
Peter, James, and John went fishing. It was a very nice day.
A storm brewed on the horizon, and a man walked out onto the water from the beach.
Who could it be, but the Lord! Peter stepped out onto the water to meet Him.
He sank like a stone, but Jesus was there to catch him.
The Penquin Players Present: The Wedding at Cana
They followed Jesus’ direction and filled the jars with water.
They gave some to the steward, but the water had changed to wine.
They had saved the best wine for last! Everyone knows you serve the best wine first, and reserve the lesser wine for the end!
Now how did that water turn to fine wine?
Penquin Players Present: The Only Bench in the Park
Three people share the bench, and all is well.
The person on either side of him leave, and he has the bench to himself.
Two people sit on either side of him, and he decided to lay across them and pretend they are not there. They roll him off.
But he has a plan to reclaim the bench.
They thwart his plan.
“Now it is down to you, and it is down to me.”
Just when all seems lost, the Bench Fairy appears and teaches everyone to share.
