Who Are We?

Jennifer Gaddie

Jen was born in Texas (though she does not remember much of it ... she was an infant) but has lived several places here in the States and 12 years total in Germany. Her father is a retired Air Force major. Jen is the oldest of four siblings. She has two brothers and one sister. Jen's family is very musical and also schooled in fine arts.

Jen has written a science- fiction adventure book, The Fishers of Men, although it is not published yet. She also draws and illustrates. Jen played xylophone in high school. She also learned how to play recorder, though she has not played it since her dog chewed it up. Jen's brother, Joshua, drew the picture of the Sacred Heart found in the Make Us Saints CD.

Jen graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville (Ohio) in 1995 with a B.S. in Nursing. She then worked 2 1/2 years as a Labor & Delivery nurse at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa. As many nurses have discovered, burn-out due to extra-long hours and stifling and bewildering professional guide-lines happens quite easily. In 1998, Jen, through God's Providence alone, found work at a very pro-life OB/GYN clinic and research center, The Pope Paul VI Institute in Omaha, NE. She has been very happy working there as an OB nurse and Fertility Care Practitioner. She highly recommends working there to any interested health professional or research assistant.

Jen has been singing in choir since grade-school, honors-choir in high school. She also enjoys classic movies and musicals. Jen might start learning to play the guitar or recorder (again) some day.
